Fifth Grade

Education is a lifelong process in which we learn from one another in every aspect of our lives.I attended Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Education. I went on to persue my Masters Degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. I continue to take classes to keep currrent in educational practices and theory.

I have taught fifth grade at McDonald Elementary School since 1997.

I was born in Georgetown, SC, but raised in New York City.  We moved back when I was ten.  I chose to be a teacher because I believe that learning is vital to the growth and well being of all people. I have four children who have attended the Georgetown County Schools.  I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and organizing trips.
