Subjects Taught
Second Grade

My education began here at McDonald Elementary. I am a graduate of Georgetown County Schools. I attended Coastal Carolina University to obtain a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. In 2013 I received my Master's in Divergent Learning from Columbia College.

My teaching experience began as a kindergarten teacher at Andrews Christian School. I then moved to North Carolina where I taught in a preschool classroom for three years. After moving back to Georgetown, I was given the opportunity to teach here at McDonald Elementary, the elementary school where my education began. I have taught the LEAP FROG reading program, second grade and third grade.

Not only am I a second grade teacher here at McDonald Elementary, I am also a wife and a mother of two. My husband and I have been married for seventeen years. We have a daughter, Logan who is a seventh grader and a son, Kolby who is in second grade. I love to shop, hunt, and sit on the beach.
